U LA LA provided local service production for Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2021 “Escape” campaign and the Balmain 1945 Collection, supporting French production company Louis 2 on location in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.

The campaign, conceived around themes of virtual travel and pandemic-era optimism, featured vintage television sets placed within Lanzarote’s volcanic terrain — models were photographed against backdrops later replaced with dramatic island scenery, with the artifice left deliberately visible as a creative statement. The campaign starred models Amé Amrit and Braien Vaiksaar, with photography by Arnaud Lajeunie and creative direction by Julien Gallico.

U LA LA coordinated local production infrastructure, logistics and on-ground execution for the incoming Paris creative team across Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes.
