Nike Futebol Brasileiragem | Film
U LA LA served as local production company for Nike’s “Brasileiragem” campaign, supporting Iconoclast Brazil and agency Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo on location in Barcelona, Spain.
Directed by Ian Ruschel, the campaign was created to launch Nike’s official 2018 FIFA World Cup Brazil kit — blending nostalgia with the new golden generation of Brazilian football. The film featured current stars Philippe Coutinho, Willian, Marquinhos and Thiago Silva alongside rising youth talents and amateur players on street pitches. The standout moment was a cameo by Ronaldo El Fenómeno, who recreated his famous missed kick from Nike’s iconic 1998 “Airport” commercial — this time hitting the post, exactly 20 years later. Highsnobiety praised the campaign as “the best we’ve seen in a while from the Swoosh.”
U LA LA coordinated all local production elements on the ground in Barcelona — assembling crew, managing locations, logistics and supplier relationships to support the international production team’s ambitious shoot.
